I need an advice

Hi!

Recently I've decided to lose some weight because I put some on after the pregnancy. Problem is that I don't have time to go running because of too much choors around the house and at work. So a friend of mine recommended me a product called Lipovon. She is using it and so far she's lost around 8 pounds in 2 weeks. I want to ask if anyone else has used it and to what effect. Any advice will be appreciated!

Thanks

Joanna

Hi,

I steer away for any products like that tbh, call me old and boring but I like the normal healthy food and exercise approach to weightloss. I did do a search of the product you mentioned and no links came up that I was happy to click on, lol which would concern me! If you are really concerned that weight loss pills might be an option for you I'd discuss it with your GP.

If you're only thinking of them because you don't have lots of time to exercise that's another matter. Running isn't the only way to get fit and shape up. In the hints and tips folder I've posted up some ideas for workouts you can do at home or that you can do with baby in tow. Over on the Shaping Up board the third folder down is the exercise folder, lots of the exercises there are to do at home and are short routines. If you take a look at our resident personal trainer's blog there are some great exercises that are quick and simple - and they work! Matt's blog, don't be put off that the last couple use equpiment, most of his workouts don't. The couch workout that's in the exercise folder is a good one, all you need is your own living room.

HTH and I hope someone can come along and tell you all about the product. If all else fails you could ask your friend to read you the possible side effects from the leaflet in the box and the ingredients so you can do a little research and make an informed decision. Good luck!
