I obviously need to start finding some good restaurants in my area as this one is another pub!
I had an excellent steak and ale pie, obviously homemade with the loveliest buttery pastry served with peas and potato wedges that I have no idea how they managed to keep so warm.
My DH had an 8oz sirloin which was definately more like a 12oz when it came out cooked perfectly with some gorgeous onion rings and salad and some more of the hot potato wedges.
They have special nights as well where you can get 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for just over £20, or 2 chicken dishes and a bottle of wine for less than £20.
The Sunday roast is very good as well. It's a bit out of the way but they have a good sized car park for the size of the place and we usually don't have a problem getting parked or getting a table.
