Why buy it when it's so easy to make.  Hard boil a couple of eggs, shell and mash with a little extra light mayo, a little syn-free plain yoghurt or fromge frais and a bit of seasoning - virtually syn free, cheap and very quick to make :smileyhappy:

I always used to have a tub of this in the fridge to snack on!

Tesco stopped doing it ages ago I think but can you confirm that the egg mayo sandwich filler from co-op is still syn free?  I seem to remember them doing a 'light' or 'reduced calorie' and that was the one that was free?  I can only find the 'normal' one in my local co-op!

Thanks.

had a search on syns online for you and this is the result

Asda

Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filling, chilled, 1 level tbsp

sainsburys

Be Good to Yourself, Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler, chilled, 1 level tbsp1 1 1
Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler, chilled, 1 level tbsp

 aldi
 no product match

tesco

Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler, chilled, 1 level tbsp
Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler, Reduced Fat, chilled, 1 level tbsp1 1 1

morrisons

Eat Smart, Free Range Egg Mayonnaise Filler, chilled, 1 level tbsp1 1 1
Egg Mayonnaise Filler, chilled, 1 level tbsp

coop

Deli Filler, Egg Mayonnaise, chilled, 1 level tbsp

lidl

Meadow fresh Deli Filler, Egg Mayonnaise, chilled, 1 level tbsp

Marks & spensers
Deli Filler, Free Range Egg & Mayonnaise, Reduced Fat, chilled, 1 level tbsp

so I am afraid I have not found a syn free one so it could be the case that making own egg mayo will be the best policy when poss to get the desired taste and know what has gone in -
try eggs, extra low mayo, fat free yogurt, salt, pepper, pinch of mustard powder/paprika

S.x
