Proud Mummy Boasts
Toilet Trained
H is 18 months today and over the last week has toilet trained. We're only using nappies for sleeps now although she does sometimes remain dry all night. She's done so well. She holds herself for upto about 6 hours at a time but when she goes she really goes LOL.
One of the benefits of cloth nappies ![]()

Hey they all have to start somewhere! We're lucky we don't have any carpets downstairs so we could give her loads of nappy free time. Teaching them to pee in their clothes (and that's what a nappy is really) must be so confusing when we suddenly change our minds and expect them to do it on a toilet/potty.

Wow well done H!!!
Cara tells me when shes pooed and when she wees in her nappy but if she has no nappy on she just wees on the floor!!lol
She does hold it for quite some time though so i guess thats a start.
I do remember trying my older dd at around 18 months as she seemed ready but then it didnt work out so i tried her again at 22 months and she was dry day and night within a week. So am hoping Cara is like her ![]()
Bet its nice to be nappy free during the day!!
Love

Hello,
Sam is not ready for potty training yet...he turned 2 on 8th of march. He loves his water and drinks quite a lot. he's nappy is always wet! Potty training is going to be a nightmare and I can already see many "accidents".
Can't wait for him to start the potty....it will be much cheaper!

We decided that we are going to start potty training Olivia after we return from our holiday at the beginning of June.
I think she is ready, but didn't want to start it now and then have our routine changing so much for two weeks while we are away, so seem sensible to wait until after we get back .
