Hey Everyone,

I'm new to all of this, im really happy i found this site. I've been looking for one for ages and think this just might be the one.

I'm a lesbian, born and bread in a country where it is illegal (although its not so strict, people kinda of turn a blind eye ) and it's driving me up the wall. I'm finding it really difficult to meet other lesbians. I'd love to just chat to someone. Been reading the posts and wishing i had found this site when i came out.

I live in a little village next to a huge lake and i work in the tourism & hospitality industry. I've finally found a place where my heart feels at home and i feel so bad to complain because i truly do live in a paradise but I've been here now for 10 months and i haven't met anyone. I'm worried i just don't have gaydar and if i do i just don't know to open & close the deal, somebody please help

Hey Lotus, where are u from? I'm a lesbian too, and I'm having problems coming out to my family even though I'm from a relatively undertstanding society. I'm sure you do have a gaydar, and the right person just hasn't come along yet. Your not alone and their are plenty of people (me included) that are in the same boat

I would be so happy to be your friend, i haven't heard from anyone.

I'm from Malawi, Africa ( do you know where it is ? ) Coming out to family is really hard, if you need to talk, feel free. I used to think i had gaydar, now i just don't know. I just feel like I'll never meet someone and that is freaking me out a little bit.

yeah i know where malawi is! thats so weird i've got family from there, and thats a really hard place to come out in, did u have any problems? my auntie's got a gay friend there and he's been beaten and taunted and all sorts, i hope you didnt experience anything like that. yeah my parents sorta found out a few years ago, but i think there in denial now, i mean it's never mentioned or anything. Yeah i know how u feel, the town i live in isnt exactly thriving with lesbians! It's winchester in england, and it's tiny! im sure you have a gaydar honey, maybe you should start going to different places and try meeting new people, or search the internet, theres gotta be some girls from your area on there x x x
