Hi There,
Please can anyone help??
My son is nearly 3 and still has not had his MMR jab, been meaning to get it done since he was 18 months old but everytime i take him down to have it done he goes down with a cold that morning and i what to make sure that he is 100% healthy for this.

I know it sounds silly but would he be ok if he had it done has he is nearly 3 years old??
Its just that you hear things about the MMR that makes you think twice about it.

Thanks

Rea.

It's a shame he keeps getting a little poorly each time you mean to get him jabbed, sod's law!!!

I would speak to your practice nurse to check it would be okay as he is nearly 3, it should be fine though.
Get an appointment and get it done luvey. It is such an important immunisation and i believe completely safe, there has never been any concrete links to any disabilities, we don't stop worrying do we!
