...is that you really fancy something to eat...

...so you prepare it/cook it/order it in (as applicable)...

...then you can't even eat a quarter of it before you decide you're full up or actually, you didn't really want it that much anyway lol!!!

Haha ive gone from fancying everything to now being hungry and not wanting anything...even chocolate, cakes or crisps. I was in such a bad mood last night because DF bought lamb and made some mash and veg to go with it...i really didnt want it so sulked all night like a 6 yr old! Xx

Lol. Not sure it's the 'only' trouble with being pregnant.. But it's high on the list for sure! 😋

Laughing at 6 year old sulking about lamb and mash and imagining your DF not letting you down from the table without clearing your plate!

That's true, there's lots of other things, too :smileywink: I'm just trying not to complain as aside from still being dog-tired and the heartburn increasing in frequency, in comparison to last time around I'm feeling miles better lol

And why not sulk?! It's our prerogative, is it not?!

I cooked BBQ pulled pork yesterday and had to really force myself to eat it.  DH said we could have something else and he would have it on sandwiches for work but it seemed like such a waste so I forced it down.  When I got going I really enjoyed it but that could have had somethig to do with the anti sickness tablet I popped too.

Re: the heartburn, I have always suffered from bad heartburn and pregnancy causes me immense issues (swigging from gaviscon bottle every half hour).  The doctor however perscribed Ompeprozole (sp) last week and it works wonders and is safer in pregnancy that ranitadine.  So if you are suffering really bad there are 'safe' things out there other than gaviscon.

I don't envy you one bit :smileysad: I was swigging out the bottle of Gaviscon Extra at the end of my last pregnancy and it didn't really help, so I can't begin to imagine how horrible it must be to suffer it all the time :smileysad:

Thankfully it's not that bad yet, but I'll make a note of that medication just in case! Thank you xx
