Proud mummy moment!

Hey all,

Just thought I'd share my proud moment. DS2 who was 2 in January has just had his 2nd day in big boy pant s an no accidents. :smileyhappy: I decided last  Monday to start potty training and he has been really good with only occasional accidents but we've now had 2 100% dry days. Really chuffed.

Anyone got any recent proud moments they want to share? Or anyone else potty training or thinking about it in the near future? Any funny potty stories?

Ooh, that's great!  Well done DS2! :smileyhappy:

Funnily enough, I met up with a mum friend this morning and her DS was also 2 in January and he suddenly decided last week that he didn't want to wear nappies any more so she's spent the last week confined to the house pretty much!  Sounds like it's starting to go OK now although he's still having a few accidents.

DD decided to do the same thing when she was only 22 months old and she went dry pretty quickly.  I remember one of the first days she was in big girl pants and I'd bought her some Hello Kitty pants.  They had a picture on the front and 'Hello Kitty' written across the back.  It was one weekend and we had some friends come over to visit.  They'd hardly been here 10 mins when DD bent over and lifted her skirt over her head to reveal the 'Hello Kitty'.  She was so proud of her knickers.  I think she did it several more times during the course of the day much to my embarrassment and our friends great amusement!

x

YOur DD sounds cute Melanie. DS2 is very proud of his Fireman Sam pants! He calls him my Sam.

Helle I've not heard of the poo fairy! lol We've had 3 days now with just one poo accident. I think he held on yesterday though and sometimes he waits until night time for his nappy to be on to poo.

It's been over a week now and no accidents so I think I can say we've cracked it! Yay! Hope I'm not speaking too soon.

A pack of nappies will last a long longer now with only one of them wearing them in the day. :-)

Yay!  That's great news.  Well done to both of you :smileyhappy:

One step closer to life without a nappy bag!

Enjoy the weekend.
