My wonderful hubby - to make you smile!
Hi,
I gave birth to my second son 10 weeks ago tomorrow. I had a fantastic delivery with a wonderful midwife (at North Hants Hospital, Basingstoke) and my adorable husband at my side. I was very lucky to have no complications during my delivery but the back ache was incredible. As a result my husband rubbed my lower back firmly with the heel of his hand during each contraction. However, early on in my labour when the back ache started I told my husband that i needed him to rub a bit harder and to wait until my contraction had ended before he finished. His reply was classic and will remain with me til the end of my days - 'the thing is it really hurts my hand'.
I'm sure i don't need to tell you my response!!!
