Morning ladies,
Hope all is well.. I've made it 12 weeks (according to my early scan date anyway) but rather than relaxing I feel more worried than ever. I think I'm losing the plot.
I have my scan tomorrow and I'm so nervous about it that i cant concentrate but now instead of just worrying about that I'm worrying that if everything is ok the next thing will go wrong, my midwife wants me to see a consultant because I've had a lot if treatment for abnormal smears to check my cervix but I don't know when that will be and I've read you should get checked early for incompetent cervix.. Plus ive convinced myself thats why i hVe so much discharge. Haven't heard anything yet and sure midwife won't appreciate me telling her how to do her job but what if she forgot to refer me.
Also I get really itchy legs which I've never know what causes it and it has spread all over my body and its driving me mad and stopping me sleeping.
I'm so hormonal I keep crying and proper sobs too till I get a headache. Had a lovely chat with my mum yesterday but now just feel like I've let it all out and can't calm down.
How long till August??

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, hope you have a great scan and that it helps allay at least some of your fears.
I always get lots of discharge when pregnant, had loads last time and have had loads again this time! I think it's one of those things that some ladies get and others perhaps not?
It does sound like they're taking care of you, though, in wanting to get you to a consultant. Hopefully it won't reveal anything negative. No harm in just asking your MW when you'll get your appointment through. Then if she's forgotten to do the referral it'll be the reminder she needs, otherwise it might turn out that it's not an urgent referral and it'll come through soon.
Perhaps worth mentioning the itching as they may be able to offer something for you. I've only had itchy legs but that alone has been enough to drive me potty, so I can't imagine how you must be feeling! There are definitely some antihistamines that are deemed safe to take during pregnancy, though, so perhaps discussing that with your MW or GP may mean you get something to provide some relief?!
I'm feeling kinda flat today, for the first time since I can remember. Though I've had worries on and off, generally speaking I've felt either OK or good, so a bit of a shock to the system today just wanting to cry a lot, but I'm putting it down to hormones (my boobs were killing yesterday!) and poor sleep with this cold that I'm desperately trying to shift!

Thank you Lisa, for the hugs and for taking the time to write that reply to me.
I cried all morning then went out for the afternoon and took my mind of things.
I guess pregnancy discharge is normal but every time I accept its a pregnancy symptom it gets stranger.
My rash was so bad last night I have used some of my prescribed steroid cream on my elbows. No idea if that's ok, probably not but beat myself up on that one another day.
Sorry u aren't feeling yourself either, I hope that your flat mood passes soon. Have a good blub first tho if it helps.

Just home from scan, had a bit of wait with a really full bladder but all is good and dates moved to 12+3. I'm delighted.
Thanks for thinking of me and your messages they really did mean a lot to me when I was feeling pants. The lady had a look at my cervix for me and said from her point of view looks fine at the moment (isn't the proper scan for cervix etc but better than nothing). Sonographer was really really lovely. Neck fluid measurement was good to so fingers crossed bloods won't change that
