IUI
Hi all. It's been over 2 years since I last made an appearance on here, so please bare with me, have forgotten all the lingo.
Nearly 3 years ago, I conceived my beautiful Daughter with the help of stimulated IUI. I had IUI as I wasn't ovulating myself. Now my daughter is 2, hymn husband and I feel we are ready for number 2. Our midwive suggested before thco the successful iui may kick start my body into ovulating without help.
I don't want to upset myself every month if this isn't correct, but also won't want to run to my GP for a referral and spend all that money if the chances are it has happend.
has anyone any experience on this.
thanks

Hi Sarah
Apparently it is quite common for people who had to have fertility treatment to conceive their first child go on to conceieve naturally with their second. I have heard of this happening to lots of people. Its as if your body suddenly knows what to do!
If i were you i would try naturally for a few months and see what happens, it might just be worth a try ![]()
Good luck
Rach xx

Hi Sarah
Welcome back!
I've been surprised at how many people I've "met" on this board who after struggling for years and needing all sorts of fertility treatment to conceive their first child, have subsequently conceived their second child without any help! So yes, it can happen. Not to say that everyone is that fortunate but don't rule it out either!
Good Luck!
Love
Sarah

Thankyou both. We've decided to give it a try and we'll seek advise after 6 month if nothing. Currently on my first 2 week wait!! Forgot how frustratinis this is. I need more patients, hehe.
