Grrr....
Bad day.....not made it to the gym because I am exhausted (so am going to bed soon). Work is crazy - one person off sick leaves me, my group leader and another team member. Group leader seems intent on falling out with all the teams we need to work closely with and other team member is plain lazy (and spends most of his time on the internet). I am trying to do my work and resolve queries for the team member who is off sick.
Got one of my german suppliers in tomorrow for a meeting - not got all the prep done - will have to go in early and juggle my ever increasing flexi time. Feel exhausted just thinking about tomorrow.
Off on friday to get my hours down - its not going to reduce my work though.
Sorry - rant over.

Hope things aren't as bad as you feared today. At least try to enjoy your day off.

It went better than expected thank you - can see myself slipping back into my anxious /stressed state where I think things will be worse than they really are.
Germans arrived at 12ish, so took them for lunch in new canteen. Meeting went ok - thankfully they are a good supplier (and have a very good sense of humour) and I had done some of my actions weeks ago so I had made progress. Had about 30 mins free whilst someone else was talking to them so dived back to desk only to find my italians had been idiots and done something they shouldn't have! Sorted that then went back into meeting (which was not planned!). Managed to give group leader update on work I have been doing so I think he appreciates what I have been doing and left work at 6 (so flexi is well high).
Vets tomorrow for boosters tho I think Soda is taking her furr off so may need the anti itch injection and will need to wait a week for her booster. Am hoping I will not wake up at 3am which I have done every day this week - have bought some really nice cat food to try and get a bit of a lie in.
In between vets have a session with Mel to look forward to.

Glad it went better than you feared. It's always helpful when someone else does something they're not supposed to as soon as your back is turned isn't it *roll eyes*.
Sounds like your week is a bit like DH's. He's been all over the place this week, he has loads of flexi that he won't be able to take and it doesn't carry over so he'll have done a load of extra with no hope of time off for good behaviour! He's been at multiple venues this week too which not only is a pain but he's been on his bike this week as the car windscreen isn't being fixed until today so it's been annoying for him to say the least!
Enjoy your day off - even though it sounds like a busy one!

I just couldn't believe the Italians did what they did - they say they understand when they clearly don't. Give me germans anyday because if they don't understand they tell you at the start!
Work is just a bit mad at the moment - to be honest I would give away my flexi some weeks rather than have the hassle of keeping under the limit and doing all my work. All the other procurement teams are allowed to convert a bit to overtime each week but for some reason my idiot of a group leader won't let us which is clearly unfair and I may bring it up next week.
So Whisky has had her booster - not hugely cooperative and she wouldn't stand still on the scales - but then I knew she wouldn't. Last year when the vet tried to weigh her whisk scratched her eyelid in an attempt to get away (which I believe turned into a black eye!) - at least this time she admitted defeat. Hopefully Soda won't be a problem later, but you never know.
Von - loved the comment about the cat food - made me chuckle! You'lll be pleased to know I have left it for whisky and soda.
