GS1
Hi Jill (and anyone else who happens to be reading)
As you know there have been a few issues regarding GS1. I've seen him once this year which I wasn't expecting. GS1's mum contacted me and asked if I wanted to. I've been trying to contact her since and no reply. I've also contacted a mutual acquaintance but had no reply from there either. 
I'm not asking for loads of visits. Just half an hour a month would do. It would just be nice to keep up to date and see with my own eyes how he is doing. I don't want to miss out on his young years. When he's older he can ask if he wants to see me but until then I'd like to keep some kind of contact.
Anyway that's my little moan. It's not something I want to chat about in rl as I don't think people understand. Glad I've got here to share stuff.

Hugs Sunshine. That is such a shame, it is so hard not to see our grandchildren and I wish you could see GS1, even if just now and again. I think all you can do is send texts every now and then and ask how he is. I think reading somewhere though, you have a legal right to see your grandchildren. I know you probably don't want to have to go that far but it is a possibillity to consider.

I managed to make contact. It's complicated but GS1 is back in care. :-( I'm seeing his mums solicitor on Monday and hoping I'll get some answers. I so wish it was a possibility for us to have him but I don't think I'll cope with an extra one (itd mean 3 kids under 2.5 and a 5 year old) plus it'd put a huge strain on my relationship not to mention the financial strain.
I just wish there was a magic answer to this mess.
