1, How often do you have a night out child free?

2, What are you planning to do this weekend?

3, What do you last see at the pictures?

4, Have you read any good books recently?

5, Do you have a naughty step? Or will you if your little one isn't old enough yet?

I know it isn't quite Friday yet but I thought I'd get the ball rolling on the answers!

1, How often do you have a night out child free? - If you mean with DH then not very often!  Possibly once a month?

2, What are you planning to do this weekend? - Ferry my children to & from various parties on Saturday and then taking DH (& kids) for lunch on Sunday for Father's Day.

3, What do you last see at the pictures?  - This has become a bit of a standing joke with us.  The last thing I saw was Cars 2 with the rest of the family last summer!  With just DH, the last time we went to the cinema was a couple of months before DS was born, ie 6 & a half years ago!  But the film was the third Harry Potter film....

4, Have you read any good books recently? - I read A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French which I really enjoyed.  I also read recently a factual book called Siblings Without Rivalry by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish which I'd recommend for everyone with more than one child!

5, Do you have a naughty step? Or will you if your little one isn't old enough yet? - No, I'm not keen on that kind of discipline.  Allowing the child time away to calm down is one thing but personally I feel deliberately isolating a child and labelling them naughty is not a long term solution for teaching them good behaviour.

Good questions!

Have a good weekend.

2, What are you planning to do this weekend?

Nothing on Saturday, DD has a party on sunday

3, What do you last see at the pictures?

Horrible Bosses

4, Have you read any good books recently?

Babies in Waiting, it's about us! All of us who join a mum's due board. An ex-colleague wrote it and a v easy read. Sunshine download it for the Kindle asap!

5, Do you have a naughty step? Or will you if your little one isn't old enough yet?

IMHO I don't agree with this system. When my DD has mis behaved I ask her to pop to her room, just to relax and then she'll take herself off for a time out and come back and apologise and we talk thru what happened and what she needs to do next time and then always end with a cuddle. With DS who is 2, he gets mega angry! And it scares him so I just cuddle him and he too always says sorry. X
