I was on this site a few years ago harping on about how unhappy I was in my marriage.
Long story short, I was in a relationship with the same guy since I was 15 and we married when I was 25. I am now 29. We broke up 2 years ago but before that I fell in love with my best friend. She didn't know at the time but it turned out she felt the same. We started fooling around and then started seeing each other before my marriage (technically) ended. We have now been together for over 2 years and are extremely happy. I have a wonderful step son and we are planning to have our own baby through IUI.
I couldn't be happier and can't wait to marry the love of my life. It was hard going when my marriage ended because I'd been in the relationship for so long and I put my girlfriend through hell but she stuck with me, we worked it out and all the cr*p we went through was worth it.
I just wanted to let everybody know how things can work out if you don't give up. Follow your heart.
