The Kander & Ebb musical Chicago is to close in the West End on September 1st after a 15 year run.  I saw it in its original home, the Adelphi Theatre, and loved it so if you haven't yet seen it go while you get the chance!

I saw it at the Adelphi too with Ruthie Henshall and Ute Lemper.  How long ago would that have been?

Great show and one of the few modern musicals which made a good film too.  Catch it before it closes if you haven't seen it.

Without checking I'm not 100% sure but I think they were the original Roxie & Velma so that would have been getting on for 15 years ago!  I think it was only a couple of years into the run that I saw it too.

I do love the film too and I suppose, looking on the bright side it might mean it becomes available for amateurs again!
