So anyway i am now 16 weeks pregnant and from when i found out at 6 weeks my boyfriend left me and refuses to have anything to do with me or the baby and is ignoring all my attempts at making this right. He has not told anyone about it and said he will have to keep it a secret as he doenst want a kid. I was thinking of contacting his mother to let her know as i feel she does have a right to know but i know he will hate this and his reaction might cause me more harm than good. im at a loss!!!

hey lovely,

hope you dont mind me popping in...im mums due march 2013 and noticed your post as i was browsing. Just wanted to say 1- I admire you for being so brave, i have 2 ds from a previous relationship, their dad walked out when they were 3 yrs and 6 months, so i cant imagine how you are feeling being on your own through pregnancy. hugs.

secondly i think you should do what you feel right for you and your baby, at the end of the day its you both that matter now.

My 2 boys dont see their nan (my mum) due to her betraying me, but they will see her when their idiot father starts to see them again as even though he hates my mother and the feelings mutual..the past year they have become best of friends apparently and he will stay there when he has the boys as he unable to look after them by himself.

I can imagine you feel like you dont knwo if you coming or going....do you get on with you ex mother? do you think she will support you and do you think your ex thoughts/feelings will change if his mother was to speak to him??

am here if you need to chat. xx

I agree with Zoe. If sh would want to know then she should be told. Not knowing how she would react to the news or her Sons behavour makes it difficult to comment.... However if I were her I would want to know.

I agree that you should tell her. You've said it's just because you think she has a right to know, which she does, and if she isn't interested then you know you've given her a chance.
