Got a question for you.
Hi all,
As you know I've stopped doing slimming world and am now following the rules in the Paul McKenna I can make you thin book. I weighed myself this morning. I wasn't planning on doing so until next week but was convinced I must have gained 2 or 3lb with how I've been eating. It was another pound off.
I am so happy. For the first time I feel in control of food. So I'm sticking with it.
So my question is I don't know if I should stick around as cl on the board. I know the polite answer would be for you to say "yes stick around" I want your honest opinions though, don't feel like you've got to say stay and I won't be offended. (p.s. this is not one of those posts that you sometimes see people do for attention, just thought I'd mention that)
Even if I don't stay as cl I will still pop by as I think our group of regulars are great and I wouldn't have got this far without you. I also promise I want harp on about what I'm doing and will be fully supportive of you all doing sw.

Hi
I must've missed the post where you said you were going to be doing this. The PM techniques do sound fascinating - I have been toying with the idea of adopting them ALONGSIDE the SW plan (eg 'eat consciously', 'scale of hunger 1-10' etc).
In your opinion, is this something that would help, or even be possible?? Tell me more about what you are doing!
Oh, and do stay as cl on the board if you so wish - I find you very 'accessible' for answers, etc (ditto Ali).

Little things that I've been doing are when I put my cereal in a bowl I put in how much I want, then take out a couple of spoonfuls and stick it back in the box. I also always try and leave a bite of my sandwich or whatever I'm eating.
I'm still picking healthy options, because I want to though. I am also eating someone so good stuff but think its more in moderation now.

I hope you will stay.
There are not many people on board at the moment, and the way I see it is that you know the plan like the back of your hand. Who cares that your not following it at the moment your input is very much valid and appreciated.
No matter what diet you are trying at the moment it is always motivational to hear about other peoples journeys and I am always looking for new ideas, and how they will interlink and supplement each other, for an all round healthier lifestyle.

Thanks for explaining - it sounds really interesting.
I think you are right though - the 'eat exactly what you want' rule would open a floodgate for me, I fear!
You must have good willpower to keep this in moderation - well done!
