Recent Card Projects ?
Just wondered, with mothers day coming up, and easter too, has anyone made any new cards recently ? I've done mothers day ones and a few birthday ones... I've got a fair few to get done that im meant to be doing right now though !
Some of my current recent makes include ...
2nd Birthday Cards - Made this design several times over for lots of babies of the same age.
New baby card, designed to look a little like a gift voucher.
And this is the mothers day card for my mother in law, who is almost 80.
The butterflies slide off and are fridge magnets if she wants them to be, which she probably will as they are her kind of thing.
Just thought I'd be nosey anyhow, especially as we're quite quiet over here again at the moment.

Lovely cards Ambi! Do you use a template to get that shape?
I love building cards in layers like this. The last two cards I made were for DIL for her birthday. I printed off some birds from a CD for one (from my cats) , cut an oval shape around one bird and treated it with a glaze so it looked like enamel. Background to that was a mica spray.
The other card I made for her was rubber stamped flowers on watercolour card. I used a water based ink then did water washes over some bits to add depth.
Unfortunately I forgot to take photos before I sent them. Not that I can post pics on the boards anyway as computer says "no"
